Teachers file lawsuit against government’s decision to end bonus increase
Several teachers affiliated with the Jordanian Teachers Syndicate filed a lawsuit challenging the cabinet’s decision to end bonus increases, on Wednesday.
The decision affects public sector employees, including teachers, and members of the armed forces.
The teachers behind the complaint requested the case be dealt with swiftly, according to a statement by the syndicate.
Salary increases were ended for employees in the civil and military sectors in April.
