Massad said tha these decisions came due to the developments in the COVID-19 situation in the Kingdom, and the surge in coronavirus infections, explaining that the work of outpatient clinics will be suspended apart from dispensing medication.

Massad stressed the continuity of work in the emergency department, and the reception of all emergency cases around the clock, stressing the commitment to the decision to prevent visits to patients who are overcoming illness or are "healing."

He called on citizens to cooperate and abide by the set decisions in order to preserve the safety and health of all.
