Thursday, His Majesty King Abdullah II congratulated his comrades-in-arms on Army Day in a post from his official Twitter account.
His Majesty wrote, "Seeing my comrades-in-arms as we celebrate Army Day took me back to days dear to my heart during my service with many of them in our chosen Arab army."
King Abdullah II continued, noting they "are the impregnable shield of the homeland and bearers of the legacy of the founders who led the march of Jordan's independence and construction."
"We salute you on your day," His Majesty lastly added.
