Sunday, the Tadamon (Sisterhood is Global Institute Jordan - SIGI) said that since the beginning of 2021, a total of 14 women were killed in domestic homicide incidents in Jordan.

Tadamon noted that two women survived after they were stabbed, one by her husband and the other by her father.
Jan. 18, 2021, a husband shot dead his wife, 53, and his son, 18, in the Rusaifa area.
Jan. 25, 2021, a young man confessed to killing his 20-year-old sister by beating her to death in the Marka area.
March 6, 2021, a father killed his two daughters (two and three years old) with a sharp object in southern Badia.
March 8, 2021, a man stabbed and killed his ex-wife inside Al-Rusaifa Sharia Court.
March 10, 2021, a mother, 60, was stabbed to death by her son in Amman.
March 11, 2021, a female, 20, was stabbed to death by her mother in Mafraq Governorate.
April 29, 2021, a wife was stabbed to death by her husband's brother in the Rusaifa area in Zarqa Governorate.
May 26, 2021, a man stabbed his 80-year-old mother to death in the Al Hussein camp area in Amman.
June, 16, 2021, a 21-year-old university girl was killed by her father.
In June, 2021, a brother burned his sister to death in Zarqa Governorate.
June 28, 2021, a husband killed his wife by beating her to death in the Balqa Governorate.
Sept. 14, 2021, a wife in her twenties was burned to death by her husband after he poured kerosene on her. She died a week after her stay in a hospital.
Oct. 3, 2021, a woman was shot dead by her husband in Amman following a marital dispute between them.
Tadamon said that a total of 21 murders were committed against women and girls during 2019, while 20 murders occurred in 2020.
