The government issued Communication No. 49 which includes allowing tourist and restaurants, cafes and hotel establishments to serve shisha, provided that they are authorized to do so, the Prime Ministry announced in a statement Monday.

The statement also added that facilities which violate the required condition, will be fined with JD 1,000 for its first violation, to become JD 3,000 for the second violation and JD 5,000 for the third violation. The facility will be shut down in the event of a repeated violation.

Regarding Communication No. 50, it allows the reopening of facilities which violate health protocols after their violations are amended.
