The Palestinian Minister of Health, Dr. Mai Al-Kaila, confirmed that the epidemiological curve is rising sharply, stressing the need to take the vaccine and to adhere to preventive measures to overcome the spread of the virus and confront this wave of the pandemic.

During a meeting held Saturday in Ramallah, Al-Kaila reviewed the epidemiological situation, including vaccines; the readiness of the various coronavirus treatment departments and centers; and the possible epidemiological scenarios in terms of the number of infections and the mechanisms for confronting them.

Al-Kaila said that there are recommendations and directives by Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, and Palestinian Prime Minister Muhammad Shtayyeh's follow-up to provide all the necessary care and treatment for citizens.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health is pursuing the modernization of many treatment strategies in terms of services, centers and treatment supplies in the various governorates of the country.

She continued: "The health of the citizen is first, and all private and private hospitals must receive all patients and examine their health status before talking about any treatment cost or medical referral, and the Service Purchase Department will follow up around the clock to coordinate with all treatment centers in the country, treatment mechanisms and transfer patients to the appropriate place for their treatment."

She indicated that the financial blockade imposed by the occupation affects all institutions of the country and all Palestinians.
