80 percent of COVID-19 deaths in Palestine among unvaccinated: Health Minister
The Palestinian Minister of Health Mai Al-Kaila said Wednesday that 80 percent of COVID-19 deaths in Palestine are among those who have not been vaccinated against the virus.
Kaila announced that the ministry will launch a large vaccination campaign in villages and camps to encourage people to receive the vaccine.
She called on everyone to also receive the third dose, as it is available in all vaccination centers free of charge.
Kaila indicated that 61.2 percent received the coronavirus vaccine in Palestine.
