Monday, Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh decided to extend the provisions of Defense Order No. (28) for the year 2021, issued in accordance with the provisions of Defense Law No. (13) for the year 1992, related to the imprisonment of the debtor, until the date of Dec. 31, 2022.

The decision comes following the financial and economic conditions resulting from the coronavirus pandemic.

The Prime Minister issued Communication No. (61) for the year 2022 AD for the purposes of implementing the above decision, and it will be published in the Official Gazette later Monday.
