Government announces official holiday for public institutions on October 8
Prime Minister Bisher Al-Khasawneh announced an official holiday on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2022, on the occasion of Al Mawlid al-Nabawi al-Sharif, Prophet Muhammad's birthday.
On this occasion, the Prime Minister issued an official statement declaring the suspension of work in ministries, official departments, institutions, and public bodies.
Establishments whose nature of work requires them to operate are excluded from the official holiday.
