Tafilah governorate ranked first with the highest unemployment rate in Jordan with a rate of 26.7 percent, according to the figures issued Tuesday by the Department of Statistics (DoS) for the 2021 year.
Balqa ranked second with a rate of 26.1 percent.
Jerash came in third place with a rate of 25.3 percent, followed by Mafraq with 25.2 percent, then Irbid with 25.1 percent.
Meanwhile, Karak had the lowest rate with a rate of 18.6 percent, followed by Ajloun with a rate of 22.3 percent.
According to the DoS, the unemployment rate among Jordanians in 2021 reached 24.1 percent.
