Irish UN peacekeeper killed in south Lebanon: AFP
An Irish member of the UN peacekeeping force in south Lebanon has been killed and three wounded after their convoy came under small arms fire, UN and Irish sources said Thursday, AFP reported.
"A convoy of two armored utility vehicles (AUVs) carrying eight personnel traveling to Beirut came under small arms fire" late Wednesday, the Irish military said.
