Sri Lanka destroys USD50 million worth of smuggled cigarettes
Sri Lanka customs authorities destroy 203 million smuggled cigarettes worth an estimated USD 50 million.
This came following their biggest single bust of illegally imported tobacco products.
The cigarettes were dumped into a garbage pit that fuels a waste-to-power electricity generator at Kerawalapitiya, just outside the capital Colombo on Thursday.
