Four workers drown at Zaatari Camp water treatment plant
Four workers of Arab nationality died after falling into a pool in the Zaatari Camp water treatment plant in Mafraq, according to the Public Security Directorate (PSD).
A team of divers from the Mafraq Civil Defense Directorate (CDD) responded to the incident, retrieved the bodies, and immediately transported them to the Mafraq Governmental Hospital, the PSD spokesperson added.
Notably, the victims were engaged in maintenance work in the plant at the time of the accident.
