Sunday, the Fruits and Vegetables Central Wholesale Market announced the latest prices of fresh produce.

According to the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM), the market received a total of 3,654 tons of fresh produce including 2,363 tons of vegetables, 1,009 tons of fruits 281 tons of leafy greens.

According to the market's latest price list (per kilogram):

Eggplants: 15-25 piasters
Broccoli: 40-60 piasters
Onions: 30-45 piasters
Potatoes: 40-60 piasters
Watermelon: 30-150 piasters
Tomatoes: 15-25 piasters
Garlic: 80-200 piasters
Carrots: 50-75 piasters
Cucumbers: 15-25 piasters
Cauliflower: 20-30 piasters
Mushrooms: 375-450 piasters
Apples: 50-75 piasters
Pomegranate: 40-70 piasters
Lemons: 35-50 piasters
Bananas: 50-70 piasters
Lettuce: 15-25 piasters
