The Director-General of the Government Media Office in Gaza, Ismail al-Thawabta, urged the Arab summit to make realistic decisions to stop what he described as the 'mad war' against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

Thawabta expressed his hope that Saturday's Arab summit, unlike previous ones, would not be just a platform for statements.

He emphasized that the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) has not stopped bombing hospitals, aiming to demolish them over the heads of the wounded, medical staff and displaced persons.

He pointed out that bombing hospitals is a clear crime under international law and constitutes a complete violation of its principles.

According to Thawabta, the US administration and the international community gave the green light to the IOF to bomb hospitals.

He called on Arab and Islamic peoples in the Arab world and around the globe to rise up and participate in demonstrations in support of the Palestinian people facing genocide before the world.
