Democratic Senate candidate Hill Harper said Wednesday that a political donor had offered him USD 20 million to withdraw from next year's Senate race and run against Rep. Rashida Tlaib.
Tlaib was criticized for comments critical of the Israeli Occupation, its military actions and aggression on the Gaza Strip.
Harper took to Twitter to reveal the offer, following a Politico report about donor Linden Nelson proposing the USD 20 million deal.
The offer suggested allocating half for Harper's campaign donations and the other half for independent expenditures.

AIPAC, however, distanced itself from the offer, stating that the individual involved had not contributed to AIPAC in over a decade.
