Jordan’s National Football Team has received USD 1.2 million dollars so far in prize money in the 2023 AFC Asian Cup.
The total prize money for the competition is USD 14.8 million, the winner of the tournament will receive USD five million dollars, the runner-up will receive USD three million, and the two teams who’s journey will end at the semi-finals will each receive USD one million.
Al-Nashama reached the semi-finals of the tournament for the first time in its history since their debut in the Asian Cup in 2004, after defeating Tajikistan in the quarter-finals courtesy of Abdullah Naseeb’s goal in the 66th minute.
Jordan is set to face South Korea in the semi-finals next Tuesday, Feb. 6 at 6:30 pm local time.
