Belgian Prime Minister Alexander De Croo emphasized the urgent need for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.

De Croo called for the immediate release of all captives in the Gaza Strip and urged the formulation of a comprehensive plan for the day after the cessation of the aggression, which has persisted for 130 days.

He stated that an incursion into Rafah would lead to a humanitarian catastrophe and result in the deaths of many innocent civilians. This comes as the Israeli Occupation army prepares for a military operation in the city of Rafah in southern Gaza, which is experiencing significant overcrowding due to civilians fleeing there to escape the Israeli Occupation missiles.
