The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) has announced that one of its drones was shot down by Hezbollah over south Lebanon on Monday morning.
A surface-to-air missile was first launched by Hezbollah at the “Elbit Hermes 450” Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV), but was intercepted by the IOF’s medium-to-long range air defense system, David’s Sling - per the IOF’s statement.
A second missile was launched by Hezbollah, which successfully shot down the drone and fell over Lebanese territory, the statement added.
Hezbollah announced earlier in a statement that its forces shot down a Hermes 450 aircraft over the city of Nabatieh in south Lebanon.
