A recent investigative report by CNN has brought to light a list of items prohibited from entry into the Strip by the Israeli Occupation authorities. The network examined documents from key humanitarian organizations, revealing a catalog of items consistently banned from entering Gaza by Israeli Occupation authorities.

Among these restricted items are vital medical supplies such as anesthetics, anesthesia machines, oxygen cylinders, ventilators, and water filtration systems crucial for maintaining medical facilities.

Moreover, essentials like dates for sustenance, sleeping bags, crucial medications for cancer treatment, water purification tablets, and maternity kits are banned.

This revelation underscores the formidable challenges faced by humanitarian efforts in delivering essential aid to Gaza amidst the ongoing war.

Meanwhile, approximately 25 percent of Gaza's population teeters on the brink of famine, said Ramesh Rajasingham, the Director of Coordination at the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA).

UNICEF's recent bulletin also highlights a surge in cases of diarrhea among toddlers and a rise in various infections such as scabies, lice, chickenpox, skin rashes, and respiratory infections among children in Gaza.

Furthermore, a recent analysis by the Global Nutrition Cluster underscores a significant increase in malnutrition rates among children, pregnant women, and breastfeeding mothers in the Gaza Strip, posing grave health risks.
