Several drones were fired from south Lebanon towards northern “Israeli” settlements, after which the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) claimed it shot down three targets over the sea in Acre and Nahariya area.

Lebanese political and armed faction Hezbollah claimed responsibility for the attack which it said was a “combined aerial attack using drones targeting the headquarters of Golani Brigade and Unit 621 headquarters stationed in the Shraga Barracks north of the occupied city of Acre.”

It added that the attack was a response to an earlier “Israeli” strike in south Lebanon which killed one Hezbollah fighter.

Yesterday, Hezbollah launched a 30-rocket salvo from south Lebanon towards “Israeli” settlements in the Upper Galilee and Galilee panhandle - which coincides with the Jewish “Passover” holiday.

Rocket alarm sirens were activated in Safed along with 13 other settlements, with Hebrew media reporting several explosions in the area.

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) confirmed that a barrage of 35 rockets were fired from Lebanon towards Ein Zeitim near Safed a short while ago - it said in a statement.

It claimed the attack resulted in no injuries and that in response, the IOF shelled the rocket launch sites.

Hezbollah claimed responsibility for the attack, saying that “tens of Katyusha rockets were fire targeting the headquarters of the 3rd Infantry Brigade of the 91st Division at the Ein Zeitim base.
