Israeli Occupation Foreign Minister Israel Katz criticized Colombia's decision to sever diplomatic ties with Israeli Occupation due to the aggression in Gaza, characterizing it as a "reward" for Hamas.
Katz posted on the X platform, stating, “The president of Colombia promised to reward Hamas murderers and rapists - and today he kept his promise.”
He further labeled Colombia's president, Gustavo Petro, as joining "decided to side with the most despicable monsters known to humanity who burned babies, murdered children, raped women and kidnapped innocent civilians," further repeating uncorroborated and debunked claims of children being burned or women being raped.
He also accused him of being "hate-filled and anti-Semitic."

"Tomorrow (Thursday) diplomatic relations with the state of Israel will be severe... for having a genocidal president," Petro told people in a May Day rally in the capital Bogota - cited by Agence France-Presse (AFP).
