The Jordan Meteorological Department has released its weather predictions for Jordan from Friday through to next Monday.

On Friday, most areas in Jordan are expected to experience warm temperatures, with areas like the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba being relatively hot. The Meteorological Department advises that there will be active westerly winds, occasionally strong, particularly in the eastern parts of Jordan.

Here are the expected temperatures for Friday:

• East of Amman: 14 - 25°C
• West Amman: 23 - 12°C
• Northern Highlands: 20 - 12°C
• Sharah Heights: 22 - 10°C
• Badia regions: 14 - 29°C
• Plains areas: 24 - 15°C
• Northern Jordan Valley: 32 - 20°C
• Southern Jordan Valley: 35 - 22°C
• Dead Sea: 34 - 20°C
• Gulf of Aqaba: 35 - 21°C

From Saturday to Monday, the weather is expected to remain warm in most areas, with the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba still relatively hot. Moderate northwesterly winds are expected on Saturday.

On Sunday, temperatures will moderate in most regions, with some clouds appearing at low altitudes, especially in the north and center of the country. Active westerly winds will continue.

Monday will see a slight drop in temperatures with partly to mostly cloudy skies in the north and center of Jordan. Most areas will experience moderate temperatures, while the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba will remain warm. There's a chance of light rain showers in the north and center of Jordan, with westerly winds remaining active.
