Hamas Sunday reported negative indications regarding the updates in the achievement of a truce agreement. A source from the movement told the American CBS network that the negotiation round held did not make progress, with a new round scheduled for today.

Hamas emphasized the need to review some clauses and requested amendments, in addition to obtaining guarantees for the agreement's implementation in writing.

The points of contention are limited to the issue of invading Rafah and ending the war permanently, which the “Israeli” side strongly opposes.

An “Israeli” official accused Hamas of obstructing the achievement of a truce agreement in Gaza, stating that reports of “Israel” agreeing to end the war were inaccurate.

Mediation efforts persisted under the leadership of Egypt, Qatar, and the United States.

CIA Director William Burns traveled to Cairo to participate in the latest round of talks, while approximately 129 "Israeli" captives remain with the Palestinian resistance in Gaza.
