Thousands of Palestinians living in eastern Rafah began to flee as the Israeli Occupation Forces threatened military action in their residential areas, on Monday morning.

Entire families were forced out of their homes, adding to the already overcrowded conditions in the region, where many displaced people were residing.

The displacement efforts were made more difficult due to the weather conditions and heavy rainfall overnight, as there were limited means of transportation and severe overcrowding.

Residents of the area expressed fear and panic due to the Israeli Occupation's threats and the distribution of leaflets warning of evacuation and military operations. They feared a repetition of the horrific massacres that occurred in Khan Yunis and other areas in the Gaza Strip.
