Hamas destroys Israeli Occupation tank east of Rafah

The military wing of the Hamas movement, the Al-Qassam Brigades, engaged with Israeli Occupation Forces east of Rafah, targeting a tank, clashing with soldiers, and using rocket shells.

A statement by the Al-Qassam Brigades revealed that their fighters targeted an Israeli Occupation Merkava tank with an Al-Yassin 105 shell, destroying it and engaging in a clash with soldiers near the Al-Shouka neighborhood in Rafah.

In another incident, the Al-Qassam Brigades announced the bombardment of Israeli Occupation positions east of Rafah using the 114 mm short-range "Rajum" missile system. They also reported attacking enemy forces at the "Kerem Shalom military site" with the same missile system.

The Israeli Occupation aggression against Gaza has persisted for 214 days. Hamas has agreed to a ceasefire proposal put forward by Qatari and Egyptian mediators, but it remains uncertain whether Israeli Occupation leaders will end the aggression.

Since October 7, the death toll in Gaza has reached 34,789, with 78,204 wounded.

Operation Aqsa Typhoon, initiated by the Al-Qassam Brigades on October 7th, was a response to Israeli Occupation violations in the occupied territories.

In retaliation, the Israeli Occupation military launched "Operation Iron Swords" against Gaza, resulting in numerous casualties, injuries, and extensive destruction of buildings, residential towers, and infrastructure.

The death toll on the Israeli Occupation side has risen to 614 since October 7th, with 267 deaths since the ground operation began on October 27.

According to the Israeli Occupation military, 3,358 soldiers have been injured during the aggression on Gaza, with 520 in serious condition, 889 moderately injured, and 1,949 sustaining minor injuries.
