The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned the “Israel’s” takeover of the Gaza side of Rafah Border Crossing and cutting off Humanitarian aid into the Strip, where “residents are facing an unprecedented humanitarian crisis” – an official statement said today.
Ambassador Dr. Sufian Al-Qudah, the ministry's spokesperson, stated that “Israel's” control of the Rafah crossing and its prevention of humanitarian aid from entering Gaza, along with its expansion of belligerent military operations in the city of Rafah, constitute a blatant violation of international law and humanitarian law, and a stark disregard for all humanitarian values.
“In its attempt to thwart immediate ceasefire efforts, the international community must collectively confront and halt such actions,” he added.
