After “Israeli” forces took control of the Gaza side of the Rafah Border Crossing yesterday evening, a leaked video has emerged shot from on top of an “Israeli” tank showing it running over and destroying an “I love Gaza” sign.

Yesterday, the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) 401st Brigade's combat tanks invaded the Palestinian side of the Rafah border crossing; footage showed several IOF soldiers tearing down the Palestinian flag and raising their own, in addition to destroying several other signs and infrastructure at the pivotal crossing point on the border with Egypt.

Earlier today, Jordan condemned “Israel’s” takeover of Rafah Border Crossing and cutting off Humanitarian aid into the Strip, where “residents are facing an unprecedented humanitarian crisis” – an official statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said today.

Jordan’s FM Ayman Safadi also condemned the attack that took place against a Jordanian aid convoy bound for Gaza while it was en route to Erez crossing by “radical settlers who again committed their despicable crime unchallenged by Israeli authorities.”

“The Israel govt is fully responsible for the attack…We urge [the Security Council] to act effectively to ensure protection of aid convoys & workers,” Safadi said on his “X” account.

“Instead of giving negotiations on hostage release & ceasefire a chance, Israeli govt occupied Rafah crossing & closed it to humanitarian aid to starved Gazans.”

“Netanyahu must face real consequences.”

Safadi further warned that the looming invasion of the city of Rafah that houses over a million displaced Gaza threatens “another massacre”, urging the UN Security Council to act “firmly and immediately.”
