Jordan will be affected by a five-day Khamasin depression, which will lead to an increase in temperatures on Thursday, followed by further rise on Friday, with the weather turning hot and dusty in several areas of Jordan – per ArabiaWeather’s forecasts.
Temperatures will rise above normal by approximately 4-6 degrees Celsius, with relatively hot and dry weather expected in most regions of Jordan.
The weather will be particularly hot in the desert areas, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba.
Winds will be moderate in speed, shifting from southeast to southwest, gradually picking up during the day and causing an increase in dust levels in the atmosphere, especially in desert areas.
Temperatures may exceed 40 degrees Celsius in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba – according to ArabiaWeather.
As for Friday, it indicated that temperatures will be higher than usual by about 6-8 degrees Celsius.
Arabia Weather advised caution due to the rise in dust levels in the atmosphere and its impact on patients of respiratory diseases, as well as attention to significant fluctuations in temperatures.
It warned of the danger of reduced horizontal visibility, especially in desert areas, due to dust.
It also emphasized avoiding direct exposure to sunlight during daylight hours, especially in desert areas, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba.
