“Israeli Chief Inspector” neutralized by Palestinian resistance in Tulkarm

"Israeli” police have announced today the death of a “top border police officer” after being critically wounded in battles with the Palestinian resistance in Tulkarm – a statement by “Israeli” authorities said, cited by Hebrew media.

He was identified as Chief Inspector Yitav Lev Halevi, 28 years old, a commander in the elite Yamam “counter-terrorism” unit – he was wounded in an incursion in the town of Dayr al-Ghusun in the West Bank last Saturday, May 4.

He was taken to a medical center in his critical condition afterwards, where he later succumbed to his injuries sustained in the battle with the Palestinian resistance.

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) has intensified its incursions into the West Bank since Oct. 7, 2023 coinciding with the ongoing aggression against the Gaza Strip.
