The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) verified that approximately 80,000 individuals have been displaced from Rafah city in southern Gaza Strip since the Israeli Occupation military entered the city earlier on Monday.

The agency emphasized that Gaza residents are experiencing forced displacement and urged for an immediate ceasefire.

The Israeli Occupation military initiated a military operation in Rafah last Monday, distributing leaflets to residents instructing them to evacuate.
