The Israeli Occupation military's aggression against the Gaza Strip has now lasted 218 days, with ongoing targeting of civilians and destruction of infrastructure across Gaza.
Recent attacks, particularly in Rafah, Nuseirat camp, and Gaza City, resulted in more casualties, bringing the total since last October to 34,934 deaths and 78,572 injuries.
In response to Israeli Occupation invasion of Rafah, resistance factions inflicted losses, killing four soldiers and seriously injuring two others.
Hebrew media suggested that the Rafah operation may continue for two months in stages, with a possibility of halting if agreements are reached regarding Gaza captives.
The US State Department, in a report to Congress, acknowledged Israeli Occupation's use of American weapons but claimed assurances that they were used within international law.
The Department, however, admitted it could not confirm whether American weapons were involved in violations of international law.
It also noted Israeli Occupation's measures to comply with international law, although there were doubts about their consistency. The report criticized Israeli Occupation for insufficient cooperation in improving the humanitarian situation in Gaza.
