Jordanian Prime Minister declares public holiday for Independence Day

Prime Minister Dr. Bishr Al-Khasawneh has released an official statement declaring that on the occasion of the 75th Independence Day of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, all ministries, government agencies, public institutions, universities, municipalities, joint service councils, the Greater Amman Municipality, and state-owned companies will suspend operations on Saturday, May 25.

Exceptions will be made for ministries, official departments, and institutions whose nature of work necessitates otherwise.
