Seafood restaurant closed, 200 kg of fish disposed in Irbid
One of Irbid’s biggest seafood restaurants was closed after it was found serving fish not suitable for human consumption, said Irbid’s Public Health and Safety Committee on Wednesday.
Officials also found fish being sold as ‘fresh’ which had in fact been frozen.
Additionally, the committee disposed of 200kg of fish in one of the most famous malls in Irbid, after inspections found it to be rotten.
