Part of Zahran Street, located beneath the Seventh Circle intersection, will be closed starting Thursday night and until Sunday morning, announced the Greater Amman Municipality on Thursday.

The decision was made to maintain sewage lines in that area.

The director of the Traffic Operations Department, Mohammad Al-Faouri, said this decision includes the following traffic diversions:

  • Traffic coming from the Sixth Circle and heading towards the Eighth Circle will be diverted via Abdullah Ghosheh Street. Drivers will be be diverted left at the traffic lights onto Barakat Zoubi Street towards the Eighth Circle.
  • Traffic coming from the Eighth Circle and heading towards the Sixth Circle will be diverted right before the Seventh Circle intersection, leading towards Wahib Al-Afyouni Street. Drivers will then go left onto Princess Basma Street leading to the Sixth Circle.

Greater Amman Municipality will ensure traffic safety through traffic officers and temporary signs to direct drivers.
