The body of a female doctor was found inside the Jordan University Hospital, a security source announced Thursday morning.

The source added that the body was transferred to the forensic medicine department to determine the cause of death.

The competent security services opened an investigation into the incident.

The doctor died after jumping from the ninth floor inside the hospital, according to a source close to the investigation.

She had earlier announced her intention to commit suicide on social media.

The source indicated that the doctor jumped from the window of the ninth floor.
