Four people were killed Friday in an explosion near the entrance to a mosque in the Afghan capital, Kabul, according to local media.
Emergency, which is an Italian humanitarian NGOn and runs a hospital in Kabul, reported receiving 14 victims from the blast.
"Four of them were dead upon arrival," the NGO said on Twitter.
Additionally, footage of a burning car was posted on social media on a road outside the mosque, however no official statement was made.
For his part, Kabul police spokesperson Khaled Zadran confirmed the explosion and casualties. No further details were given.
