The Public Prosecution has brought forth serious charges against an assailant involved in a series of violent incidents involving three women in the Seventh Circle area in Amman.

The assailant allegedly attacked one woman in her vehicle and dragged her into the street for a distance of approximately 300 meters.

He also stabbed another woman in the face and then attempted to strangle her elderly mother.

The man was also accused of robbing them of gold jewelry during the incidents.

These actions resulted in the charge of "attempted murder." The attacker now faces multiple charges, some of which carry a potential life imprisonment sentence, according to the Public Prosecution.

The Deputy Public Prosecutor of the Grand Criminal Court has filed several charges against the accused, including:

• Attempted Murder: pursuant to articles 328 and 70 of the Penal Code. 
• Attempted Murder in preparation for a misdemeanor: under articles 327 and 70 of the same law. 
• Assault causing facial injury: according to Article 334, with the possibility of repeated penalties.
• Vehicle theft: As defined by Article 401/3.
• House Theft Misdemeanor: in accordance with Article 406 of the Penal Code, carrying a potential life hard labor sentence of up to 30 years.

These charges collectively reflect the gravity of the alleged crimes and signify the prosecution's commitment to pursuing justice in this case.
