The Jordanian Seismological Observatory recorded a 3.3-magnitude earthquake Wednesday in the Jordan Valley, south of the Tabariya Lake.
The quake occurred at 11:2 AM, at a depth of 12 kilometers, according to the Seismological Observatory.
"This earthquake is considered to be a minor one, consistent with the seismic activity in Jordan," the observatory stated.
It added that some residents near the epicenter might have felt the tremor.
