The General Director of Hospitals in the Gaza Strip, Mohammed Zqout, stated that estimates indicate the presence of thousands of displaced individuals and around 200 medical staff inside the Indonesian Hospital.

Zqout added Monday that the Israeli Occupation has exhausted hospitals in the northern and southern Gaza Strip, in addition to directly executing wounded and patients in hospitals.

He pointed out that any shell fired by the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) would immediately result in the death of many displaced Palestinians due to the overcrowding of hospitals.

Zqout revealed that a request was made to the World Health Organization (WHO) to evacuate patients, but the IOF did not respond.

He noted that in the Shifa Hospital, there are 260 wounded individuals, and one of them dies every day.

Meanwhile, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Health in Gaza, Ashraf Al-Qudra, stated that the IOF seeks to 'completely disable' the Indonesian Hospital.

Qudra added Monday that the situation in the Indonesian Hospital is 'catastrophic,' and the IOF is intensifying its attacks on it.

Monday morning, 12 Palestinians were killed and dozens were injured due to the IOF targeting the Indonesian Hospital in the northern city of Gaza with live bullets and artillery shells.
