The spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) stated that the Anti-Narcotics Department responded to intelligence reports on individuals involved in drug trafficking in the central Badia region.
As a result, five individuals were apprehended, including one categorized as high-risk, who was found with 27,000 narcotic pills and 90 bags of hashish. Another arrest involved a drug dealer with 10 bags of hashish and two firearms.
The spokesperson for the PSD highlighted that the anti-narcotics teams extended their efforts across various regions of the Kingdom. In the capital, a drug dealer was arrested with 39,000 narcotic pills, while in Ma'an, another individual was apprehended with 33,000 narcotic pills.
In Mafraq, two cases involving drug traffickers were addressed, leading to the arrests of individuals with 13 and eight bags of hashish. Additionally, a repeat offender attempting to cultivate marijuana plants in a southern Shouneh region was arrested. The intervention led to the confiscation of the illicitly cultivated plants.
