The military spokesperson for the Egyptian Army stated that a number of Egyptian and Emirati military transport aircraft took off from El-Arish Airport to carry out nighttime air drops of tens of tons of urgent aid and relief materials to alleviate the acute humanitarian crisis faced by Palestinian citizens in northern Gaza.

The aid included large quantities of food, medicine, and urgent necessities, which were airdropped in various areas of northern Gaza lacking essential life support due to ongoing military operations.

This comes as part of coordinated efforts with all regional and international stakeholders to achieve de-escalation and implement urgent aid to alleviate the humanitarian crisis within the Gaza Strip.
