King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, was admitted to King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Jeddah on Wednesday for routine examinations, according to the Saudi News Agency (SPA).

The SPA reported that King Salman will undergo these examinations for a few hours.

Earlier Tuesday in Jeddah, King Salman chaired the Council of Ministers session where additional compensation was approved for the affected people of the village of "Taba" in the Hail region. This compensation, totaling 200 thousand riyals, or residential land within the approved government plans, was granted due to the abandonment of their traditional farms and homes caused by ground cracks.

During the Council session, chaired by King Salman bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Arabia reiterated its commitment to security and stability in the region and globally.

It also reiterated its call on the international community to take responsibility for halting Israeli Occupation attacks on civilians in the Gaza Strip. Furthermore, Saudi Arabia reaffirmed its support for the Palestinian people's right to self-determination and the establishment of their state based on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
