Jordan's Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi and his Dutch counterpart, Hanke Bruins Slot, discussed the situation in Gaza and the humanitarian crisis caused by Israeli Occupation aggression against the territory.

During their meeting on Friday, the ministers also talked about efforts to achieve a ceasefire, protect civilians, and ensure the continuous and sustainable flow of humanitarian aid to Gaza. Additionally, they discussed efforts to de-escalate tensions in the region.

Jordan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates stated that the meeting also covered bilateral relations between Jordan and the Netherlands, as well as several issues of mutual interest.

- Aggression on Gaza -

Regarding the continued aggression against Gaza, the Israeli Occupation has persisted in its attacks for 210 days, resulting in numerous civilian casualties, destruction of infrastructure, and targeting displaced people's tents.

The death toll has reached 34,596 martyrs and 77,816 wounded since October 7.

- Operation Aqsa Typhoon -

Hamas's military wing, the Al-Qassam Brigades, launched Operation Aqsa Typhoon in response to Israeli Occupation violations in Palestinian territories, while the occupation launched its own military operation, named "Iron Swords," resulting in significant casualties and destruction of buildings, residential towers, and infrastructure in Gaza.

The Israeli Occupation army has witnessed 608 deaths and 3,330 injuries since October 7, with varying degrees of severity among the wounded.
