Around 30,000 Palestinians performed Friday prayers at the Al-Aqsa Mosque - Al-Haram Al-Sharif within the occupied city of Jerusalem.

The Israeli Occupation enforced stringent military measures on access to Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Since the Israeli Occupation's aggression began against the Gaza Strip and the West Bank on Oct. 7, 2023 – the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) intensified their arbitrary measures at the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the entrances to the Old City.

Residents of Jerusalem or Palestinians from the 1948 territories were also randomly prevented from entering Al-Aqsa Mosque to pray.
