The Israeli Occupation continues to withhold Palestinian Authority's clearance revenues, tightening financial constraints on Palestinians.

Due to "Israel's" failure to transfer April's clearance funds, the Palestinian Ministry of Finance announced it would disburse 50% of the March salaries on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, with a minimum payment of 2000 shekels, approximately 400 Jordanian dinars.

The Ministry assures that the remaining dues owed as of this date are secured for the employees and will be paid when financial capabilities allow.

Since the Israeli Occupation aggression on Gaza began 220 days ago, "Israel" has deliberately seized the PA's clearance revenues, aimed at restricting Palestinian rights and financial autonomy.

Recently, the Palestinian Finance Ministry stated that it had prepared to pay the highest possible proportion of salaries, considering a new formula that would pay full salaries to those earning 3000 shekels or less. However, "Israel's" ongoing hold on the April clearance transfer has hindered these payments.
