The Jordanian Seismological Observatory detected three earthquakes in the Dead Sea region Tuesday.

According to the observatory's director Ghassan Sweidan, the first earthquake occurred at 5:05 am Amman time, measuring 3.2 on the Richter scale in the Dead Sea area.

The second earthquake struck at 9:46 am Amman time, registering a magnitude of 2.1 on the Richter scale, approximately nine km from the Dead Sea.

The third earthquake, with a magnitude of 1.9 on the Richter scale, was recorded at 10:43 am Amman time at the same location, occurring at a depth of four km.

The observatory has assured that these earthquakes are of small magnitude and are not likely to have significant impacts.

Such seismic activity is common in the region, and there is no cause for concern.
