Maher Abu Al-Saman, the Minister of Public Works and Minister of Transport, has emphasized the importance of being well-prepared for the upcoming winter season.

During a meeting held on Saturday with directors of public works in various governorates and department heads at the ministry's headquarters, Abu Al-Saman stressed the need to expedite the implementation of projects related to the rainy season.

He highlighted the significance of learning from past experiences, particularly feedback from the previous rainy season and taking into account the list of identified hotspots provided by relevant authorities. This approach, he mentioned, is essential to prevent the recurrence of issues encountered in the past.

Additionally, the minister called upon the ministry's personnel to ensure the readiness of emergency operations rooms within the governorates and districts, in addition to the central operations room at the ministry's headquarters. These preparations are crucial to effectively respond to any challenges that may arise during the winter months.
