The Central Traffic Department issued a message to citizens and residents, urging them to exercise caution while driving in the current weather conditions.
They emphasized the importance of maintaining a safe distance between vehicles and avoiding close following.
The message also advised against using hazard lights while driving, except in emergency situations or when coming to a stop.
In case of reduced visibility, drivers are encouraged to use regular headlights instead of hazard lights.
A representative from the Highway Patrol Operations Room mentioned that all roads in the kingdom are currently open, and there are no significant obstacles reported.
However, some areas, especially the road to Ras Al-Naqab, are experiencing fog, resulting in reduced visibility.
Regarding recent accidents, the representative mentioned a rollover accident that occurred after the Hashemite University towards Mafraq Sunday.
The accident resulted in one fatality, and the deceased was transferred to Al-Zarqa Government Hospital.
The cause of the accident was attributed to a sudden lane change.
The Traffic Department urged people not to hesitate to call the emergency number (911) if needed.
