Pentagon warns Houthis to “not escalate crisis outside Gaza”
The US Department of Defense stated that it is closely collaborating with the international community to deter Yemen’s Houthis and protect the international sea route across the Red Sea.
The Pentagon added that the United States continues to provide the necessary force to deter any state or non-governmental entity seeking to escalate the crisis outside of Gaza.
It emphasized that it maintains broad-ranging American military capabilities in the Mediterranean and throughout the Middle East.
